Meet Marija Maletz, your IB ESS tutor

I teach Environmental Systems and Societies online, helping IB ESS SL and HL students understand difficult topics, practise exam questions and develop their own research skills.

Teaching experience that informs every lesson

I have taught ESS and Geography in international schools in Austria, Slovakia and Serbia, and hold a Master’s degree in Geography and Environmental Science. My experience as an IB teacher and examiner helps me explain both the subject and what a well-developed answer needs.

How I support students

Lessons are tailored to the student’s current level, pace and priorities. We can work on ESS topics, exam preparation, IA research questions and data analysis, or Extended Essay planning and argument development. Research and writing remain the student’s own.
